Main Responsibilities – As the team lead for the MR&S Student Cohort, Glenda works collaboratively with the other cohort leaders to support our ministerial students as they pursue their calling. From providing guidance for their ministry development plan to preparations for credentialing progress interviews, she offers support every step of the way to successful ordination.
As the Unity SpiritGroup Coordinator, Glenda provides training for lay leaders from Unity ministries around the world to become certified SpiritGroup Program Leaders, providing them with the knowledge and skills to start successful small group ministries that nurture connection and build leadership within the ministry. Through ongoing leadership training and monthly connection calls, program leaders continue to hone their skills and receive support for thriving programs.
Personal Info - Wherever there is water, you will find Glenda in her Kayak. She is a kayak enthusiast and when not on her kayak, enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Rev. Glenda Walden is a 2015 graduate of the Unity Urban Ministerial School. She became an ordained Unity Minister, May 6, 2016. She lives in Evansville, IN with her wife and dog, Halo.
In 2023 Glenda completed the SpiritGroup program leader training. With this certification, she provides coaching and support to ministries who are interested in revitalizing, evolving, or redefining their ministry using the UWM SpiritGroup model.
